 Medicaid in Connecticut is a free or low-cost health coverage program for people with low income, disabilities, seniors, children, and pregnant women. In Connecticut, it’s known as HUSKY Health and includes four coverage groups: HUSKY A, B, C, and D.

 Section 8, or the Housing Choice Voucher Program, helps low-income families, seniors, and people with disabilities in Connecticut afford safe, decent housing. It pays part of your monthly rent directly to a private landlord. You pay the rest — usually no more than 30% of your income.

 You may qualify for Section 8 in Connecticut if:
