📘 What Is It?

 North Carolina’s SNAP program is called Food and Nutrition Services (FNS). It provides monthly help to buy groceries for individuals and families with low income.

Benefits are loaded onto an EBT card (called the NC EBT Card) that you can use like a debit card at most grocery stores and markets.
