🧾 What Is SNAP?

 The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) helps low-income individuals and families in Tennessee buy food each month. Benefits are issued through the Tennessee EBT card and can be used at grocery stores, markets, and some online retailers.

💬 What Is TennCare?

 TennCare is Tennessee’s Medicaid program. It provides free or low-cost health insurance to eligible low-income children, adults, seniors, and people with disabilities. It covers doctor visits, hospital care, mental health, prescriptions, and more.

🏡 What Is Section 8?

 The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program helps low-income individuals and families in Tennessee afford safe, decent housing. Participants pay about 30% of their income on rent, while the rest is covered by a housing voucher.
