📘 What Is It?

 Washington’s version of SNAP is called the Basic Food Program. It helps low-income individuals and families afford groceries by providing monthly benefits on an EBT card, which can be used at most grocery stores and farmers markets. 

✅ Who Can Qualify?

 You may qualify if you:

  • Are a U.S. citizen or legal immigrant
     
  • Meet gross and net income limits
     
  • Are working, unemployed, or disabled
     
  • Have limited resources (under $2,750 or $4,250 if elderly/disabled)

 Apple Health is Washington's name for Medicaid. It provides free or low-cost health coverage for eligible individuals and families. Apple Health includes:

  • Dental & vision (especially for children)

 You may qualify for Apple Health if you:
